Online Training for customers
Our online training courses are becoming increasingly popular with our customers. We have just trained a Vietnamese customer in the use of the Flocculation Titrimeter FT5. Our Managing Director, Dr. Jens Pfeiffer, and Sales Manager, Per Endemann, explained how to use it and provided valuable background knowledge on asphaltenes.
The Flocculation Titrimeter FT5 is designed to measure the precipitation and crystallization of asphaltenes in very dark, undiluted crude oils and oil products. It is particularly suitable for samples with very low light transmission and can be used for measurements comparable to automated Heithaus titrimetry according to ASTM D6703.
One of the outstanding features of the FT5 is its versatility – it can be used mobile and in laboratory environments.
Our team trained six key users comprehensively. They were able to contribute their knowledge and practical experience. The installation was done by our local dealer. The online training started directly with the topic of correct sample preparation. The training included background knowledge on asphaltenes, introduced all components of the measuring station and their handling. The tests were carried out using the powerful WinFT software. After two half-day training sessions, our customers expressed their thanks for the comprehensive training and felt well equipped to handle the device.
